With the tenth overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft the St. Louis Rams selected running back Todd Gurley of Georgia. Despite a suspension and a torn ACL in 2014, Gurley is considered one of the top running back prospects in this year's draft.
NFL Draft results 2015: Todd Gurley drafted by Rams at No. 10
If healthy, Gurley has all the makings of a franchise back.

Gurley started five games for Georgia last season before getting suspended four games for violating NCAA rules. The suspension came after it was learned that he had autographed memorabilia in exchange for money.
In his first game back from suspension, Gurley tore his ACL and missed the remainder of the season as well as the NFL Scouting Combine.
Gurley, as a result, has some red flags, but when healthy and active Gurley was one of the best backs in the nation last year. The season before he started 10 games and rushed for 989 yards and 10 touchdowns. In 2012 he was named second-team all All-SEC.
In three seasons at Georgia Gurley carried the ball 510 times for 3,285 yards and 36 touchdowns. That’s a stellar per-carry average of 6.4 yards. He also added 65 receptions for 615 yards and six touchdowns. If he’s healthy, Gurley has all the makings of a feature back in an NFL offense.
Gurley has some injury concerns coming into St. Louis, but it's clear the Rams netted a talented backfield stalwart who will bolster their ground attack when healthy. In the competitive NFC West, the hope is that he suits up as soon as possible. The Rams averaged just 102.2 yards per game last season, which ranked 20th in the league. Gurley will join Tre Mason, a 2014 third-round pick, to form a dangerous one-two punch.
