The Bengals have made offensive tackle Cedric Ogbuehi the No. 21 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. The 6'5 lineman earned third-team AP All-American honors in 2014 with Texas A&M and played against strong competition in the SEC. He started all 13 games as a senior for the Aggies, which included 11 at left tackle and two at right tackle.
2015 NFL Draft picks: Cedric Ogbuehi taken by Bengals
The Bengals landed offensive lineman Cedric Ogbuehi at No. 21 overall in the 2015 NFL Draft.

His draft status took a serious hit when he tore his ACL in the Aggies’ final game against West Virginia in the Liberty Bowl. Ogbuehi could have entered the draft after his junior season, but he decided to return to school for his final year. Fortunately, he has a loss-of-value insurance policy to fall back on that the university paid for before his senior season. Though he was limited at both the Combine and his pro day, Ogbuehi has said he’d be ready for training camp.
In terms of his measurables, Obguehi possesses great size and has long arms. He is a tremendous second-level down blocker with speed and desire to compete. He showcased supreme conditioning while playing in a fast-paced offense in college and has the versatility to play tackle or guard. During his sophomore season, he started every game at right guard, helping pave the way for Johnny Manziel’s Heisman-winning year.
One concern, as displayed by his 23 reps in the bench press at the Combine, is his strength and ability to sustain blocks in pass protection. In addition, his technique has question marks and can also be a liability at times. However, he has major potential and his injury didn’t deter the Bengals from picking him.
