La’el Collins’ agent is attempting to pull him from this weekend’s NFL Draft and instead enter the Supplemental Draft, Jay Glazer is reporting. Glazer reports the decision will ultimately be left up to the NFL.
La’el Collins’ agent wants to pull him from the draft, per report
Collins is scheduled to speak with police about the murder of his ex-girlfriend, but is not considered a suspect.

Collins is scheduled to meet with police regarding the shooting death of ex-girlfriend Brittany Mills, who was eight months pregnant at the time. Police say Collins is not a suspect, and reports suggest the meeting is taking place in part to determine the paternity of the child, who survived delivery.
From LSU, Collins is one of the top offensive tackle prospects in the draft and was expected to be a high selection before this story broke. Since then, multiple NFL teams have reportedly called Collins “undraftable” until he is officially cleared of any wrongdoing.
Last year’s supplemental draft took place in July, with just four players eligible. Teams bid draft picks from the following draft on players available in the supplemental draft -- if a team bids a third-round pick on Collins and wins, for example, that team forfeits its third-round pick in the 2016 draft.
