Tevin Coleman expected to miss time with fractured rib
Devonta Freeman has taken over the starting running back duties after Tevin Coleman exited Sunday’s game on a cart.

The 2-0 Falcons play at Dallas on Sunday before returning home to face Houston on Oct. 4.
Coleman had nine carries for 32 yards and a touchdown before going down with the injury in Sunday's 24-20 win over the New York Giants. He was recently named the starter for Atlanta after an offseason battle with Devonta Freeman for the starting spot.
Freeman, who carried 12 times for 25 yards and a touchdown against the Giants, will take over while Coleman is out. Freeman is a threat out of the backfield as well, catching four passes for 34 yards in the New York win.
Coleman was taken in the third round by the Falcons in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was considered a first-round talent by many, but he dealt with injuries in college and throughout training camp and the preseason. Coleman carried the ball 20 times for 80 yards in his NFL debut in Week 1.
Terron Ward was listed as the No. 3 running back on Sunday's depth chart and is expect to move to No. 2 while Coleman is injured. Ward didn't carry the ball against the Giants, but did catch one pass for nine yards.
