Seattle’s K.J. Wright ejected after trying to rip off opponent’s head

Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright took out his frustration on Packers tight end Richard Rodgers, and paid the price.

Seattle Seahawks linebacker K.J. Wright was ejected against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday night after he and tight end Richard Rodgers got in a fight. Rodgers has caught fire in the second half, catching a back-to-back touchdown and 2-point conversion to give the Packers a 24-17 lead. The conversion came against Wright, who jawed with the tight end after the play, and later did this:

Referees called offsetting personal fouls on the play, but booted only Wright from the game ... perhaps not too surprising after he essentially tried to twist Rodgers’ head off.
