Pacman Jones thinks Antonio Brown deserves a Grammy Award for ‘faking’ injury
Jones says Antonio Brown winked at him after faking a concussion from a hit delivered by Vontaze Burfict.

Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Adam Jones alleged on a Monday morning appearance on The Dan Patrick Show that the concussion suffered by Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was faked to draw a penalty.
Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict was flagged for an unnecessary roughness penalty after he appeared to target the head of Brown, delivering a hit that left the receiver motionless on the field. The penalty moved the Steelers into field goal range and a subsequent penalty on Jones pushed Pittsburgh even closer for a 35-yard field goal that won the game.
“Man, Antonio Brown was not hurt,” Jones told Patrick on Monday. “I know he was faking it. Go back and look at the play. If you go back and slow-motion the play, you tell me that Vontaze [Burfict] hit him in the head. Or did his shoulder pad barely touch him?”
“I think he deserves a Grammy Award for that one,” Jones said, who was corrected by Patrick to say it’s an Academy Award that he meant. The cornerback also said that Brown winked at him after suffering the injury.
Burfict is reportedly facing a multi-game suspension for the hit, but Jones said he doesn’t even think it should’ve been penalized. While he wouldn’t say that he thought the officials were favoring the Steelers, he did admit that he thought Pittsburgh got favorable calls and he felt that Ryan Shazier’s hit on running back Giovani Bernard was worse than Burfict’s.
“They let the game get out of control,” Jones said of the officials. “Some of the calls that we didn’t get, they got. I thought the hit on Gio [Bernard], you might have to tell me, was way worse than the hit on No. 84. That was helmet-to-helmet and he had no way to protect himself.”
Jones was flagged for a personal foul penalty after he shoved Steelers assistant coach Joey Porter, who was inexplicably on the field in the final minutes of the game. He told Patrick on Monday that officials explained that the penalty was due to Jones making contact with an official.
Brown is expected to be able to play in a Divisional round matchup against the Denver Broncos on Sunday and "is said to be fine," according to the Denver Post-Gazette. Brown finished the game with seven receptions for 119 yards on Saturday.
