The Senators are officially done for the season, and they aren’t being shy about it. Pretty much any team can have just about any player they have - for a price, of course. Can “deliberately tanking” be a trade deadline strategy? Free agency is where the Senators will make a serious splash. But until then, they’ll just have to bide their time and ship out as many players as possible. There’s not many left, so they might be done before Monday.

Prediction: The Senators will offload anyone and everyone they can so that they can start fresh in the offseason with free agency. What will be interesting to see is who is left with the team by then, and what direction they’ll take in rebuilding.
