The Nashville Predators are going to make the Vancouver Canucks earn a victory tonight if they can't come back in the final period. The Canucks were only able to make two shots on net in the period and are being outshot in the game 18-9.
Canucks Vs. Predators Score: David Legwand Puts Nashville On Board, Down By One
David Legwand picked up Nashville's first goal of the game at 3:31 in the second period on a play that went to the booth for review. On a wristshot from 11 feet out by Legwand, the red light went on and the ref called it a goal, but replay made it debatable. All the replays Versus aired showed the puck behind Luongo in the net and then the camera angles failed with Luongo moving around. By the time the goal was called, the puck was underneath Luongo and sitting on the goal line. In between the shot and the idle puck on the line, it likely did go into the net.
Can Luongo seal the deal for Vancouver with one period left in the game?
