The big talking point heading into Monday's Pittsburgh-Colorado game was that Penguins captain Sidney Crosby and Avalanche first-round pick Nathan MacKinnon, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2013 draft, both happen to be from the small town of Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia.
Sidney Crosby goes 1-on-1 with Nathan MacKinnon
Nathan MacKinnon found out what it’s like to go up against the best player in the world.
That is apparently a pretty big deal to the fine folks of Cole Harbour, and everybody else that covers the NHL.
Late in the second period Cole Harbour’s two favorite players were able to go up against each other one-on-one and MacKinnon was able to find out what it’s like to see the best player in the world up close.
Welcome to the NHL!
