The New York Rangers received some bad news on Tuesday night.
Rick Nash leaves game after being elbowed in head
Rich Nash had to leave the Rangers game on Tuesday after he was elbowed in the first period.

The team announced that forward Rick Nash left its game against the San Jose Sharks and will not return after being hit in the head with an elbow by Brad Stuart in the first period.
Nash played 5:53 and recorded one shot on goal before leaving. He suffered a concussion during the 2012-13 season.
He was New York's key offseason acquisition prior to the 2012-13 season when the Rangers finally completed their long-rumored trade with the Columbus Blue Jackets. He finished with 21 goals and 21 assists in 44 games.
Nash had been skating on New York's top line with Brad Richards and Derek Stepan this season prior to leaving Tuesday's game. He has yet to score a goal this season but already has three assists.
