Penguins vs. Senators Game 2 update: Morrow joins Crosby on the scoresheet

Goals from Sidney Crosby and Brenden Morrow kept Ottawa at bay in the second period.

I'll give the Senators credit. Even though the Penguins lead 4-2 after two periods, Ottawa is still alive in Game 2.

Sidney Crosby didn't wait long to extend Pittsburgh's lead, scoring his third goal of the game just 1:15 into the second period.

That goal chased Craig Anderson out of the net, even though he stopped 18 of the 21 shots he faced. I guess what I'm trying to say is he was getting pelted by the Penguins.

Ottawa answered quickly once again, as Colin Greening scored just 40 seconds later.

The Penguins didn't let up their attack one bit despite the setback. Pittsburgh outshot the Senators 15-9 in the second period, and Robin Lehner was forced to make a few remarkable stops. Unfortunately for Ottawa, Brenden Morrow managed to tip in a shot to make the score 4-2. It was his first playoff goal since 2008.

The Senators will have to mount a difficult comeback in the third while keeping the oppressive Penguins at bay. A tall task.
