Connor McDavid injures hand in fight

Dennis PajotErie Otters center Connor McDavid, arguably the best player in the upcoming 2015 NHL Entry Draft, injured his right hand on Tuesday during a fight with a fellow CHL player.
The Otters announced on Wednesday that McDavid has sustained a fracture of the fifth metacarpal in his right hand and is expected to miss five to six weeks. This is a noteworthy timeline because the IIHF World Junior Championship is scheduled to begin preliminary round play on Dec. 26, with Canada facing Slovakia at the Bell Centre.
