It's hard to fault Linus Ullmark here on this goal. Almost every person on the ice was essentially fooled by Justin Abdelkader's deflection goal that put the Red Wings up 2-0 on the visiting Buffalo Sabres, and it's clear as day why.
Sabres goalie remained completely frozen as this crazy deflection flew right over him
One of the strangest deflection goals this season.

This is such a weird deflection goal. Off Abdelkader's chest, off his forearm, over the goalie, into the net pic.twitter.com/sIBb7IlEMa
— Shane O'Donnell (@shane1342o) December 2, 2015 The shot on net caught Abdelkader in the chest, bounced off his arm that was tucked into his body, squeezed up and over Ullmark, who was as still as a statue as the puck went right over his head and into the net. Certainly one of the weirdest deflection goals this season, made even crazier by Ullmark’s lack of reaction to a play he clearly did not see coming.
