St. Louis Blues winger Jaden Schwartz isn't the tallest guy on the ice on any given night. And when you're a small hockey player, sometimes you have to get creative to score goals.
Jaden Schwartz hops over defenseman, scores pretty backhand goal
The Blues winger has some mad hops.

For Schwartz, that means hopping over a defenseman and firing a backhand shot past the goalie in midair. If that sentence sounds ridiculous, it's because it is. But so was Schwartz's goal against the Calgary Flames on Thursday.
No wonder the Flames goalie didn’t move. There was no way he’d think about shooting until his feet hit the ground.
Never underestimate the short guy.
