Lindsey Vonn, just one week after rupturing the ACL in her left knee during a hard crash in Switzerland, has completed her first training run before competition begins at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Asked by The Associated Press if the training run went well, Vonn simply replied “[y]ep!”

You can see a portion of her run here:

Vonn suffered a ruptured ACL when she crashed during the final World Cup downhill before the Olympics in Crans-Montana last Friday. The injury to her left knee comes after she hada. partial titanium replacement to her right knee during 2024.

Still, she has her eyes set on competing, with the women’s downhill set to begin on Sunday.

Her training run was 11th-fastest, 1.39 seconds off the pace. American Jackie Wiles posted the quickest training time in the 47-racer field on Friday, clocking in at 1:38.94.

“Nothing makes me happier! No one would have believed I would be here,” Vonn shared on social media before her run. “But I made it!! I’m here, I’m smiling and no matter what, I know how lucky I am. I’m not going to waste this chance. Let’s go get it!!”

The women’s downhill is set to begin at 5:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Sunday, streaming live on Peacock and NBCOlympics.com.
