Kolo Toure has found an equalizer for Manchester City just a few minutes before the half. As the momentum has shifted to City, Toure found the ball at his feet when defensive partner Vincent Kompany flicked on from a Manchester City corner. While the Citizens have retained the ball better than Wolves, their abilities from open play and in the final third have been quite poor.
Manchester City Vs. Wolves: Kolo Toure Equalizes For City
It was the second goal of the game and equally as scrappy as the opener. From just feet out, Toure, who was in the perfect position, struck hard into Wolves keeper Wayne Hennessey and midfielder David Jones yet neither were able to keep the shot from trickling into the net.
The goal may go a long way in City's title run, but the home side will have to do better from open play if they're to overcome a pesky Wolves side who won't relent. Through spells of the first half, City's often lauded central defensive pairing of Vincent Kompany and Kolo Toure found life difficult when dealing with Wolves' forward two of Kevin Doyle and Steven Fletcher. Now all level at the half, the final 45 looks set to produce an interesting conclusion.
