In his second Serie A start for AS Roma, Bojan Krkic has scored to give the home team a 1-0 lead against Atalanta. The long ball was put through by Daniele De Rossi and taken down beautifully by the young Spaniard. But then the forward had to deal with Atalanta defender Gianpaolo Bellini, determined to win the ball back and preserve his club's unbeaten start to the season. Bojan held on though, twisting and turning to shake off Bellini, before aiming for the far post and putting it past goalkeeper Andrea Consigli.
AS Roma Vs. Atalanta: Bojan Gives Roma 1-0 Lead
So that’s one for Roma, but will it be enough against the determined La Dea? Atalanta have done well thus far to battle back against their six-point deduction, earning ten points in the first four matches and sitting in a perfectly respectable 14th place. Considering this club would be in first without that deduction, it’s hard to believe that there won’t be a response from Atalanta, even at the Stadio Olympico.
