Whew, that was a terrifying moment for Napoli fans, as Giampaolo Pazzini found the back of the net in the 24th minute. Morgan De Sanctis, normally so flawless in the partenopei goal, allowed the ball to wiggle out from beneath him, Pazzini pounced, but the flag was up. Replays showed the Inter Milan forward had been just offside, so a correct call from the referee, and a lucky escape for the visitors.

How much longer, though, can Napoli weather this Inter attack? Yes, they might be missing Edinson Cavani, but the azzurri are struggling more than the loss of one forward should allow. Napoli are being torn up by Maicon, back for the first time since May to bolster Inter, with Salvatore Aronica just unable to do anything to stop him on the right side. Napoli are lucky that they've kept a clean sheet thus far, but it seems unlikely the score will stay that way into halftime.
