Amid all the controversy, all the complaining, and all the yellows, Christian Maggio has come up with a goal that Inter Milan has no ability to refute. The ball was played over the Inter midfield by second-half Napoli substitute Giuseppe Mascara, coming in for Goran Pandev. Maggio was one on one with Julio Cesar and just -- dink -- sent a left-footed shot over his head and into the back of the net.
Inter Milan Vs. Napoli: Christian Maggio Makes It 2-0 With No Controversy, This Time
It's tough to see the nerazzurri coming back from a 2-0 deficit, particularly after going down to ten men. They've brought on Dejan Stankovic in place of Ricardo Alvarez, choosing experience over youth, but unless Stankovic has the ability to be two men at once, it's unlikely he'll be able to change the outcome that much.
Inter now have the worst defensive record in Serie A, with ten goals conceded in five matches. That’s a trophy of some sort, right?
