Everton may be winning 2-1 against Fulham at Goodison Park, but they may have just lost Louis Saha for an extended period of time. It’s a bizarre injury too, as the striker rose for the ball, got caught in a routine aerial challenge, took a knock to the back of the head, and simply failed to land properly, hitting the ground extremely hard and writhing around in agony clutching his ankle. Everyone seemed a little surprised that Saha stayed down after what looked like a light knock, but the Frenchman wasn’t getting up and was eventually stretchered off the pitch.
Everton Vs. Fulham: Louis Saha Injury Sees Striker Stretchered Off
Jermaine Beckford was warming up to come in for Saha anyway as David Moyes’ side look to hang onto their 2-1 lead, which at this point is probably undeserved. Fulham have been by far the better side since Bobby Zamora came on with the score at 2-0, but as things stand Everton are going to weather the storm and come away with the win.
