Chivas had been threatening to score all match but had been stunned by goals from Omar Bravo and C.J. Sapong to bookmark the first half - the goal from the long-time Wizard, making his Chivas debut, was no less than the hosts deserved after very good play throughout the match so far.

It’s now Sporting 2-1 Chivas, and with a highly open match it looks like that particular scoreline won’t last the night. With Chivas pressing hard for goals, Kansas City are able to hit them hard on the counterattack, but they’re having to soak up a lot of pressure to manage it.
