Barcelona really do get rather cranky when they lose the ball, and Dani Alves has just taken out some of his displeasure by laying in a rather crunching tackle on Arsenal winger Samir Nasri, leaving the Frenchman (in what was a suspiciously delayed reaction) on the floor writhing in some pain. Arsene Wenger, predictably, is rather cross with the fullback, and Nasri, predictably, is perfectly fine. The Catalans had some retaliation coming their way, and it was Leo Messi who had to take the hit, being upended by Robin van Persie.
FC Barcelona Vs. Arsenal FC, 2011: Nasri, Alves Clash; Bacary Sagna Booked
After a mixup in the Arsenal area which cleared up by the combination of goal-saving tackle from Johan Djourou and a curled long-range shot that went a little bit wrong courtesy of Pedro's left foot, Bacary Sagna has picked up the second booking of the night for the Gunners. At this rate Arsenal will have enough yellow cards in the match to build one of their shirts. Still, though, they've defended just well enough to prevent their hosts from scoring - or really even looking like scoring - and the game is a third of the way over. Surely this isn't how Arsene Wenger wants to play , though?
