However, Benoit Assou-Ekotto didn’t much care that the ball was cleared and absolutely hammered the ball back into the mixer, giving Iker Casillas a real scare as the shot zipped past his right post. If Spurs after going to get a goal here, they’ve got to do better with their corners, though. They’re not going to get many chances and Bale can’t afford to waste them like that.
