Great start to the half for Villarreal. Mario sent a great pass through the legs of Ricardo Carvalho that was poked past Iker Casillas by Cani. The goal woke up the crowd at El Madrigal and breathed some life in to the Yellow Submarine. With the result back reach, the game with a bit mad both in terms of action and unsporting behavior.

Ronaldo ties Telmo Zarra and Hugo Sanchez with 38 goals and will get a shot at breaking the record next weekend in Madrid's season finale against Almeria.
