It is somehow 0-0 at White Hart Lane despite each side having plenty of chances to score. Tottenham Hotspur, as you'd expect, have had the vast majority of the possession against Blackpool, but they haven't managed to convert that into goals (discounting Jermain Defoe's effort in the 36th minute rightly ruled out for offside), while Blackpool have mostly been looking to hit their Champions League-chasing host on the break. They've certainly given Heurelho Gomes a few frights, with Charlie Adam testing him several times with long-range attempts, including a beautifully hit acute volley that the Brazilian goalkeeper did well to keep out.
Tottenham Hotspur Vs. Blackpool: 0-0 At Halftime
Blackpool have had marginally the better opportunities to score, but that doesn’t mean Spurs haven’t tested Matthew Gilks in the Blackpool net - he’s made a couple of good stops, a Luka Mordic effort was deflected just wide with Gilks beaten, and there have been at least two low crosses that required all of a touch to go in only to evade all of the white shirts in the area and go out of play. It would be very surprising if this one ended 0-0.
