This game has officially gone mental. A terrible error by William Gallas lets Jason Puncheon in, fifteen yards from goal and slightly off centre. He must score, but nearly takes the corner flag off with his right-footed first-time effort. An appalling miss, that, and now Blackpool have paid the price. Jermain Defoe has equalised for Tottenham Hotspur with a magnificent long-range strike, picking the ball just ahead of the D and absolutely spanking it past Matthew Gilks in the Blackpool goal.

So we’re back to square one at White Hart Lane, but with six minutes of injury time there’s still plenty of time for either of these teams to find a winner (and for more hilarity from Heurelho Gomes). I honestly have no idea how this match is going to turn out - we’ll just have to wait and see. It’s already been one of the strangest games of the season.
