The game is over and we're only halfway done at Craven Cottage. In fairness, the game was over before we were even a quarter of the way done - Liverpool came out all guns blazing and Fulham replied with something probably best described as 'pfft'. Within seven minute, Maxi Rodriguez had a brace, and Dirk Kuyt added to their misery by giving Mark Schwarzer an opportunity to thoroughly embarrass himself by completely missing an easy save in the 16th minute.

Fulham played better after that - frankly, it would have been hard not to, but they were hardly any good. Gamecast is claiming that the hosts managed four shots in the first half, but I only actually remember one, which was a quite nifty Clint Dempsey volley that was cleared off the line by Glen Johnson late on. Liverpool look rather bored of this whole affair already and it's hard to blame them. The points are in the bag.
