FC Dallas Vs. New England Revolution: Scoreless After 45 Minutes
Dallas opened up the first half with a fury of chances on Matt Reis' goal. Fabian Castillo has had a couple chances on goal but none that really tested Reis. He sent a couple over the bar or right at Reis.
The best chances for Dallas came with Brek Shea. Midway through the first half Dallas had a free kick outside the penalty box, Daniel Hernandez sent the ball into the back post and George John nearly got on the end of it but saved it from going out of bounds. He then found Marvin Chavez who sent a cross in to the back post to Shea who chested a ball to Eric Alexander but Alexander's shot sailed high.
Shea also had another chance last in the first half when he found himself on the back post of a cross but his shot went wide.
New England only a had a couple chances on Kevin Hartman's goal and none that tested the veteran keeper. Shalrie Joseph may have had the best chance on goal but his shot was saved comfortably by Hartman.
