City were willing to field offers for Tevez during the summer, but did not receive a concrete offer that met their valuation of the player. They were in negotiations with Brazilian club Corinthians, one of Tevez’s former clubs, but the deal ultimately fell through. Now, it seems as though the club will have to find some way to ship him out of town, regardless of whether or not they’re able to recoup his value.
