Much like they have throughout qualifying, they created the goal with a counter down the wings through Antonio Valencia. The Manchester United man found Caicedo with a through ball, and he finished off from close range.
While the Ecuadorians never created another similar chance, they won’t be too disappointed with a decent road performance and a place in the finals.
