Riki fired Depor ahead just seven minutes into the match receiving a pass from Bruno Gama and sending a shot top corner past Adrián. Depor continued the pressure and came close twice to doubling their lead but Adrián denied RIki on a shot from the edge of the area and Gama sent a good chance over the crossbar.

David RamosGranda earned their first win in ten matches thanks to a 37th mintue free kick goal by Nolito. The midfielder struck the ball from just outside the Espanyol area, curling over the wall and into the upper left corner past a frozen Francisco Casilla.
Granada moves out of the drop zone and will remain there at least until next week’s round of games.

With Los Merengues resting several starters and Atletico with a nearly first choice lineup, this should have been the day for Atletico to shine. Instead Real Madrid came back from an early deficit for a 2-1 win.
Radamel Falcao got Atletico Madrid off to a wonderful start heading in a cross in the 4th minute and staking Atletico to an early 1-0 lead. Koke”s free kick from 25-yards was saved by Diego Lopez but the keeper unable to control the rebound and Diego Godín was in the right spot, sending the ball back across to Falcao at the far post for the headed finish.

Stuart FranklinBoth sides had chances to take an early lead but neither could convert. Athletic’s Ander Herrera whipped a low ball across the Barcelona box, catching the defense sleeping, to an unmarked Aritz Aduriz who just missed putting the ball in the empty net with a sliding effort. Ten minutes later, Alexis came whisker close for Barcelona sending an off balanced show pinging of the post.
Aduriz missed his second sitter of the game in the 44th minute, heading a beautiful cross from Oscar de Marcos just over the cross bar. The only thing worse than the finishing from Adruiz was the marking by Piqué and Abidal who allowed the Athletic a tremendous amount of space right in front of Victor Valdés.

The lead lasted roughly a minute as Osasuna earned a corner in the 8th minute and quickly equalized.
