It had been 298 minutes since Osasuna scored a goal and despite scoring two in a five minute span early in the first half, it still wasn't enough for Los Rojillos to get their first win since late March.

Osasuna scored two quick goals to take the lead in the first half but a second half tap-in by Rayo’s leading scorer salvaged a point for the home side.
The point moves Osasuna just a little bit further away from the drop zone while Rayo moves two points ahead of Getafe for 8th place for now. If Malaga remain banned from Europe, that spot should be good enough for a Europa League place.
Ray got off to a fantastic start in the 6th minute when Lass danced around a Osasuna defender before whipping a cross that Andrija Delibasic rose over Damia to meet, powering a header past Andrés Fernández.
The lead lasted roughly a minute as Osasuna earned a corner in the 8th minute and quickly equalized.
Raoul Loe got up to meet the cross despite being nearly tackled by Alejandro Gálvez who never even appeared to look for the ball. The French striker sent the ball high over Rubén who had no real chance to make a play. Five minutes later Osasuna added a second goal on another set piece.
This time the cross came in from the left corner, delivered to the far post by David Timor where defender Javi Arribas powered over his marker and headed the ball back across the face of goal and past Rubén to make it 2-1 for the visitors.
Rayo's leading scorer Piti pulled his side back even in the 57th minute after Alejandro Domínguez broke through Osasuna's high defense line and drew out Rubén for crossing to Piti for the easy tap-in goal.
A large section behind the goal was empty throughout the match as the Rayo supporters group did not make an appearance as part of of a protest against the league forcing late kickoffs on Friday evenings.
