Stephane Sessengnon's time with Sunderland could soon be at an end. The Beninese playmaker has been heavily linked to a move to West Bromwich Albion in a move that could work for all parties -- although the 29-year-old has undoubtedly shown flashes of brilliance during his two and a half seasons at the Stadium of Light, Paolo di Canio is working to reform his side into a more workmanlike outfit and Sessegnon's mercurial nature isn't particularly welcome at present.

Steve Clarke, on the other hand, needs someone to create a spark in the West Brom attack, and Sessegnon definitely fits the bill. His numbers in the Premier League aren't enormously impressive, but he's definitely capable of tormenting defences when he's on his game -- West Brom, without a goal in three games this season, will be hoping that they can keep him firing on all cylinders.
