Bundesliga scores: Paderborn grabs first ever top flight victory

After coming close last week, Paderborn rolled over Hamburg to claim a historic win for the club. Bayer Leverkusen stayed perfect with a win over Hertha Berlin.

Bayer Leverkusen picked up their second straight victory on the young season, defeating Hertha Berlin 4-2. Leverkusen fell behind early thanks to a horrible Tin Jedvaj own-goal, but Jedvaj scored the equalizer five minutes into the second half for some redemption. Herth Berlin went ahead again in the 60th minute thanks to Julian Schieber but Emir Spahic evened the match two minutes later and Leverkusen pulled away with two late goals for the victory.

Paderborn bounced back from a disappointing draw in their opening match with a thorough 3-0 win over Hamburg. It’s the first ever victory in the German top flight for Paderborn, which took the lead in the first half thanks to Elias Kachunga and never looked back. Cologne earned their first win of the season as well, defeating Stuttgart 2-0 behind goals from Yuya Osako and Anthony Ujah.

Václav Kadlec scored an equalizer with five minutes left to play to grab a point for Eintracht Frankfurt against Wolfsburg, while Werder Bremen played Hoffenheim to a 1-1 draw.

Here’s a look at all the results from Saturday’s schedule in the Bundesliga:
