Hull City, West Ham agree Mohamed Diamé fee - report

Hull City and West Ham United have apparently agreed a deal for Senegal midfielder Mohamed Diamé.

Mohamed Diamé is one of the Premier League's top journeymen central midfielders. Only you wouldn't know it based on his recent time at West Ham United, where under Sam Allardyce he's morphed from substitute midfielder to very strange winger to being out of the squad entirely. Might Diamé, who excelled at Wigan, get offered a lifeline on deadline day?

Everything points to yes. The latest club to come in for him is Hull City, and if good old "Sky Sources" are to be believed the Tigers have agreed a deal with West Ham to take the Senegal international to the KC Stadium. Diamé would be a major boost to Steve Bruce's squad -- in truth, he'd be a major boost to almost any squad in the Premier League -- especially if the fee matches his lack of playing time from last season. This could be a major blow in what looks set to be a tight battle to stay clear of the relegation zone.
