Stoke City looking to complete Scott Sinclair signing
Stoke City are hoping to complete the signing of Manchester City’s out-of-favour winger Scott Sinclair.
Stoke trying to do a deal for Scott Sinclair at #mcfc. Would see the last of Mancini's disastrous 2012 signings cleared out..
— Mark Ogden (@MOgdenTelegraph) September 1, 2014 According to Sky Sports News, Stoke manager Mark Hughes is hoping to sign the 25-year-old on a loan deal. If completed, it would be Sinclair's second loan in as many seasons, with the former England U-21 having made eight Premier League appearances while at West Bromwich Albion last season.
Sinclair first joined City from Swansea back in 2012, though has made only 11 league appearances in total for the Citizens. He impressed in this year's preseason, though seemingly not enough to persuade manager Manuel Pellegrini to consider playing him in the first team.
However, he’s certainly a solid Premier League player, and would be a good capture for the Potters.
