The United States men’s national team starts their World Cup qualifying campaign in St. Louis on Friday, and Jurgen Klinsmann has picked an attacking lineup to face St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
USMNT vs. St. Vincent and the Grenadines: Lineups
The USMNT goes attacking in their first World Cup qualifier.

Brad Guzan starts in goal in an announced move -- Tim Howard will start on Tuesday. DeAndre Yedlin, who has played more on the wing recently, gets the nod at right back. Fabian Johnson moves to left midfield, the position he plays for Borussia Mönchengladbach. Gyasi Zardes plays opposite him, while Bobby Wood partners Jozy Altidore up top.
Fans thought Klinsmann might give nods to new players Darlington Nagbe and Matt Miazga against the weakest opposition that the US will face in qualifying, but they have been left on the bench.
