For the record fifth time in his career Roger Federer earned an ATP crown at the 2012 Western & Southern Open Sunday at the Lindner Family Tennis Center In Cincinnati. The No. 1-ranked player in the world dominated No. 2 Novak Djokovic 6-0, 7-6 (7) in the men’s final to take home the tournament’s Rockwood Cup.

From the start, the Serbian superstar was no match for his Swiss counterpart who won the first set in only 20 minutes, allowing just 10 points. Djokovic had his 15-match winning streak on the hard courts snapped, while Federer earned his second straight victory over Djokovic. The last time the two stars met was in the Wimbledon semifinals.
With the men’s side finished, tennis fans will turn its attention to the women’s final which features No. 9 Na Li facing No. 5 seed Angelique Kerber starting at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN.
