At age 31 with a significant injury history, Rafael Nadal is a long way from his prime, but the “King of Clay” is still the favorite to take the 2017 French Open. He entered having to get through defending champion Novak Djokovic, the surging Dominic Thiem, and of course, world No. 1 Andy Murray.

But he won’t have to face Roger Federer, who dropped out of the clay court season to preserve his longevity. Federer doesn’t have much time left in the sport, and clay is typically his worst surface to begin with. He wants to preserve himself for the grass court season after the French Open.

Djokovic has struggled recently, coming down from being the most dominant player in the sport for well over a year. Murray isn’t the most dominant player out there, but he’s winning plenty of matches and will be in the shuffle right with them. Thiem appears ready to take the next step and of course, Nadal is always amazing on clay.

Thiem took one big step when he beat Djokovic in the quarterfinals. All of Thiem, Nadal and Murray made it into the semifinals, along with Stan Wawrinka. Wawrinka beat Murray and Nadal dominated Thiem, setting up a huge final between the two.

Below is a full bracket, schedule and results, updated daily throughout the tournament.
