UFC 108 Results: Junior dos Santos Knocks Out Gilbert Yvel

In the

broadcast opener the new hot thing in the heavyweight division, Junior dos Santos, continued his run in the

knocking out Gilbert Yvel in a matter of minutes.The two fighters circles and exchanged punches with both men landing. Once Junior avoided the Yvel high kick he was able to land a beautiful counter hook that dropped Gilbert. Junior pounced and landed several more shots to force Herb Dean to call a stop to the bout.

The only question left in dos Santos’ game is how he will handle a wrestler who can put him on his back.
