Duchscherer Will Miss The Season Following Hip Surgery
Athletics announced Duchscherer will have hip surgery and miss the rest of the season
Dr. Thomas Byrd, who twice performed surgery on Duchscherer’s right hip, will perform this surgery on his left hip. For Duchscherer, he does intend to try to come back again in 2011. And for the A’s, they were aware of this possible risk from the beginning.
In good news for Oakland, at least Brett Anderson is back.
