O.J. Atogwe Still Talking To The Rams

Free agent safety O.J. Atogwe is still talking to the Rams about a possible contract, according to Brian Stull of 101 ESPN.

Per Stull, they are currently at odds over money. The length of the contract can be agreed upon by both sides. The Rams are willing to go at least four years.

Interest in Atogwe has essentially dropped to zero.

In the days leading up to his availability, at least half a dozen teams were rumored to be interested in him. Now, the Dolphins represent the team that is seemingly the most interested behind St. Louis and their interest is “lukewarm”.

Atogwe was reportedly seeking a contract in the neighborhood of $7 million per year. With nearly all the teams bowing out, it doesn’t seem likely he’ll hit that number.
