2010 British Open At St. Andrews: Second Round Conditions And Tee Times

The first round of the British Open was met with the exceeding rare sight of clear conditions at St. Andrews, which resulted in 45 rounds in the 60s, with 75 players overall breaking par. Clubhouse leader Rory McIlroy became the first player ever to post a 63 in the first round at the British Open. Unfortunately, conditions won’t be so auspicious going forward. Overnight rain is expected to continue into the morning, leaving soggy conditions and temperatures dipping from the near balmy 60s into the 50s.

Leader McIlroy will tee at 8:31 a.m. EDT. John Daly, tied for third at 6-under, will tee off at 7:36 a.m. Tiger Woods, tied for eighth at 5-under, will tee off at 9:20 a.m. EDT.
