As the midnight ET deadline for contract negotiations looms, the LAnaheim Angels have agreed to terms with the 18th overall pick:

#Angels sign Kaleb Cowart, per team release. #MLB #LA

Cowart was given a $2.3 million signing bonus.

16 first-round draft picks remain unsigned, as of this writing.
