NCAA Bracket 2011: Printable March Madness Bracket Updated With Third Round Field
The “second round” of the NCAA Tournament is over and the field is down to 32 teams ahead of Saturday’s “third round” games. Over two days filled with wall-to-wall basketball, 32 games to be exact, we saw upsets, thrilling finishes and enough basketball to wear down even the biggest hoops junkie.

Unlike Thursday, upsets were almost non-existent as chalk prevailed throughout the day. Even close finishes were missing after we were spoiled by Thursday’s early games. George Mason did come through with an exciting finish after Luke Hancock buried a late three to drop Villanova. Texas also received a scare late against Oakland in the first game of the day, but survived to advance with a 85-81 win.
Marquette pulled the big upset of the day with a 66-55 win over Xavier in the afternoon session. The rest of the top seeds -- including North Carolina, Purdue, Ohio State, Notre Dame and Duke -- handled over-matched opponents easily. Kansas did receive a minor scare from Boston University as the Terriers hung around for 30 minutes before fading late in the second half.
