NCAA Bracket 2011: Printable Bracket Updated As March Madness Field Dwindles

NCAA bracket 2012 is here.

The March Madness field continues to shrink as we work our way to next week’s Sweet Sixteen. On Saturday, eight teams survived to advance to the round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament in an action-packed day filled with thrilling finishes and superb individual performances.

The latest printable NCAA Tournament 2011 bracket can be found here.

Kentucky and Florida started the day off right, pulling away down the stretch in wins over West Virginia and UCLA, respectively. In the Cinderella matchup, Kenneth Faried and Morehead State’s tournament run ended at the hands of Richmond as the Spiders advanced to the Sweet Sixteen with a 65-48 win. San Diego State also hung on to make it out of the round of 32 with a 71-64 double overtime win over Temple. Butler rekindled the magic and advanced to the Sweet Sixteen, as well, after a last-second foul allowed Matt Howard to hit the game-winning free throws in a 71-70 win over No. 1 seed Pittsburgh.

The evening session was filled with outstanding individual performances as the stars shined bright. Jimmer Fredette’s 34 points helped BYU down Gonzaga, 89-67. Jacob Pullen scored 38 points for Kansas State, but the Wildcats fell to Wisconsin after Jordan Taylor came up with a big block in the final minute to preserve a 70-65 win. Kemba Walker capped the night scoring a game-high 33 points to lead UConn into the Sweet Sixteen with a 69-58 win over Cincinnati.
