NCAA Bracket 2011: Printable Bracket Updated After First Sweet 16 Games

NCAA bracket 2012 is here.

The first four teams booked their tickets to the Elite Eight with wins in the Sweet 16 on Thursday night. Just one higher-seeded team took home a win in the first set of Sweet 16 games as the underdogs prevailed all night long. From big upsets -- Arizona and Butler -- to a smaller “upset” -- UConn’s win over San Diego State -- it was a night full of action.

The updated 2011 NCAA Tournament printable bracket can be found here.

Arizona pulled the most surprising upset of the night, knocking off Duke, 93-77. The Wildcats took over in the second half, outscoring the Blue Devils 55-33 en route to the 16-point win. Derrick Williams was a monster all night, throwing down vicious dunks and generally dominating the paint for Arizona.

The Kemba Walker show also rolled on as UConn held on to knock off San Diego State, 74-67. It took overtime, but the Florida Gators are moving on, as well, after taking down Jimmer Fredette and the BYU Cougars. Fredette scored a game-high 32 points, but Florida’s team effort was too much as the Gators pulled away in the overtime period. Butler also made it back to the Elite Eight for the second-straight year after using strong defense to bury the Wisconsin Badgers early before holding off Wisconsin’s late charge in a 61-54 win.
