Bryant McKinnie Cut By Vikings, According To Reports
Bryant McKinnie will not be a Viking in 2011, after nine seasons in Minnesota.
McKinnie was a no-show to the start of training camp, despite rumors that he was busy slimming down in preparation for the upcoming season. Johnson's signing on Monday, Peyton Manning's former blindside, seemed to spell the end of McKinnie's career as a Viking.
McKinnie spent nine seasons in Minnesota, earning a starting spot his rookie year on his way to 131 total starts for the Vikings. He protected the blindsides of Daunte Culpepper and Brett Favre (and most recently Joe Webb) in that time, helping pave the way to some of the leagues best offenses.
