Grady Sizemore To Get MRI On Right Knee

The Cleveland Indians have been one of the best stories in baseball, and one of the best stories on the best story in baseball has been the renaissance of Grady Sizemore. The oft-injured outfielder, who missed most of 2010 after undergoing microfracture surgery on his left knee, felt something in his right knee last night, and he's going in for an MRI to find out what's going on. From the Indians' Media Relations:

Sizemore going for MRI on right knee after hard slide last night into 2nd base. At this point he is listed as day to day.The play in question:

Sizemore stayed in the game after that, taking an at-bat and playing in the field, so it’s likely not something especially serious, but rather something that didn’t feel good after a night of sleep. Still, with Sizemore being a big part of the first-place Indians’ surprising run, it’s probably time for Cleveland fans to hold their collective breath.
