Vikings Coach Stress Patience with RB Adrian Peterson: Fantasy Implications
Vikings coach Leslie Frazier is stressing patience when it comes to RB Adrian Peterson’s return from knee surgery. We break down the fantasy implications.

Analysis: Getting Peterson active is good news for the Vikings and fantasy owners, but caution is the right word here. Peterson had surgery less than 8 months ago, so it’s unclear what he is capable of at this time. If Peterson plays in the preseason and gets a clean bill of health afterward, then fantasy owners who want to can move forward with him as a No. 1 fantasy back. Peterson has been an elite running back but make sure he’s ready (or close to it) before banking on him for the entire season.
